As you look through the classified ads on ebay you will see that the car's are from the entire United States. That being said you will most likely find a car you are interested in that is not located near you. Now this is where it can get tricky and you should proceed with caution from this point on. First thing I like to do is look at the feedback rating of the person selling the car. I won't go another step further unless their feedback is at least 99% positive.

This is your first line of defence from getting ripped off. Next take a look at the items the seller has sold in the past. See if he has sold cars on ebay in the past. Make sure that his 99% positive rating is not inflated by purchasing or selling .
